The Miss Hellene Pageant is a celebrated charity event in South Africa which endeavours to raise funds for charities and the Hellenic Student Bursary Fund. The winner of the Miss Hellene pageant will become an ambassador for the Greek and Cypriot youth in South Africa.
The National Association of Hellenic Youth and Student Organisations of South Africa (NAHYSOSA) are the organisers and driving force behind the Miss Hellene pageant. As an umbrella for all 9 Hellenic affiliate members in South Africa NAHYSOSA draws from all it’s resources to make the Miss Hellene pageant an event not to be missed.
From all around the country 10 girls of Greek and Cypriot origin between the ages of 17 and 23 have been given the opportunity to enter and participate in the Miss Hellene 2010 pageant, with the aim of raising money & support for charities, winning incredible prizes and earning the prestigious title of Miss Hellene 2010.
Contestants will be judged on poise, confidence, beauty and their intelligence when competing for the title. This year the competition is strong which will make Miss Hellene 2010 even more enticing.
The past successes of Miss Hellene has been attributed to a collaboration of organisers, contestants and supporters who have all generously donated their time, money and effort to provide exquisite venues, great food and a memorable event. Miss Hellene 2010 will be no different, with each of the 10 gorgeous contestants giving it their all and an even better event taking place at Emperors Palace on the 4th of September 2010.
