What do you do in your spare time? Work, spend time with family and friends, listen to music, play sports, gym and community service.
Why did you enter Miss Hellene 2010? I entered Miss Hellene 2010 because I believe this was a wonderful way to represent my heritage and culture and generally the Greek youth in South Africa, this is inevitably accompanied by the desire to experience a pageant of this caliber thus expressing my honor and pride as Greek youth in South Africa. With the ultimate goal to represent, all Hellenes as an ambassador whom eludes pride for this representation.
If you won Miss Hellene 2010 how would you assist the Hellenic Community in South Africa? It is in my opinion that; Hellenes of South Africa look to unite maintain and educate their children in what I believe to be a culture rich with heritage history and ethos.
As a Miss Hellene 2010 I would assist the Hellenic Community of South Africa in the following ways:
To represent the youth as a role model whose pride and honor of being a Hellene supersedes the exterior beauty but adds to the compassion and understanding of the youth of “diaspora” in our ultimate goal to preserve our heritage.
To assist the numerous and ongoing fundraiser functions for our less fortunate as well as our elderly; who need our love and time so much.
To ensure that as a Hellene the combination of our religion, morals and values are transgressed to our Communities and mostly our youth.
To assist the various communities and encourage them to individually continue with their hard work in uniting Hellenes all over South Africa.
To promote and assist in the importance of learning “our” language and the wealth you invest in yourself for the opportunity to learn another language.
To assist in the support and unity of Hellenes of South Africa, through various interacting activities ie sports events, religious celebrations and to bring together all Hellenes in support of this unique heritage and culture.
It would be an honor to represent Hellenes in South Africa; our community has the need in all of the above; to jointly work together; to encourage and motivate all Hellenes to achieve our own Hellene “Family” of South Africa.
Our Youth is what our world will become tomorrow and it is imperative that we learn to leave things in a better situation than we found them.
