Why did you enter Miss Hellene 2010? Mostly for the experience and the fun that comes with it. To expand my circle of friends. It would also be quite exciting to stand a chance of representing the Greek community.
If you won Miss Hellene 2010 how would you assist the Hellenic Community in South Africa? Winning Miss Hellene, first of all, would be a privilege. With Miss Hellene comes great responsibility. Giving back to the underprivileged, old and sickly would be main priority. Meeting the community on a personal basis, to me, is most important as it stimulates the love and affection, which is greatly needed. Having said the above, to me the CANSA association stands out, as Cancer is a disease which is rapidly growing in our community, affecting many families, including my own. By creating awareness in ways of prevention and donation toward research, would help immensely. Without your health nothing else is possible. Education is the key to the future; by assisting the youth of the Hellenic Community in South Africa with fundraising/bursaries, will unlock their chance of creating a life for themselves. Having an education myself, I would want their lives too, to be filled with knowledge and broader horizons. With every action there is a reaction, by acting responsibly the Miss Hellene of 2010 will be set as a role model.
